Save our Water
I don’t know if you have ever thought about it, but water will be our world’s top concern this century. Even now, more than a billion people on earth don’t have enough water to drink or use every day. In Canada and Russia, there is a lot of fresh water, enough perhaps for the whole world, but it’s impossible to give it to countries in need. Of course, there are those who are already beginning on their plans of selling this precious ressource, the same way we do now with the black gold.
The sad thing is, here in North America water is really badly wasted, with people washing their cars and taking one hour showers every day, but still the biggest water consumers are the farmers, not just because agriculture needs a lot of water, but also because water used is polluted by the different chemicals used to grow plants.
So the question is should we sell our water, or should we protect it better and avoid wasting it.
My French exam is today
It seems neverending! Today again, french exam, 500 words of written argumentative text with the captivating subject of Agriculture. Naturally, I received merely 47 pages of preparation documents, that I still haven’t read. Actually, I should be reading them now, but it won’t change much, would it?
